Providential Media Selected for Two Plug and Play Accelerators

Another significant milestone and further validation for Providential Media came in the form of being selected to not one, but two of the prestigious Plug and Play accelerator programs which launched in North Dallas in Spring 2024. We are one of 10 companies in the Sports Tech cohort out of Frisco TX, as well as the Enterprise and AI cohort out of McKinney, TX. Providential Media is also the only company in Plug and Play’s history to participate in two different cohorts simultaneously. In addition, we are only one of three North Texas companies represented in the second phase of these programs.

It's a strong testament to the hard work and commitment to innovation by the Providential Media team. Organizations like Plug and Play Tech Center combined with forward-thinking public entities like the Economic Development Corporations in both McKinney and Frisco are so invaluable to the growth of startups and the essential ecosystem needed to succeed and thrive for years to come.

Plug and Play originated in Silicon Valley from its visionary Saeed Amidi, a highly respected entrepreneur who successfully launched businesses across the globe and were early investors in companies such as Google, PayPal, Danger, Dropbox, and Lending Club. To date, Plug and Play has over 30 Unicorns in its portfolio and has expanded globally to over 60 locations across 25 industries with more than 550 partners investing in over 2,000 companies. 

Selected startups spend eight weeks working alongside the PnP network of corporate partners, investors, and mentors to establish a path for rapid growth and expansion.
